Formed in 1989, the EFFC represents more than 370 companies across Europe that undertake foundation construction and geotechnical processes; Including piling, diaphragm walling, grouting, ground anchoring, ground improvements and dewatering. We also have a number of Associate Members who are companies in the supply chain to our specialist contractor members.
The EFFC work to produce detailed guidance documents on health, safety, technical and contractual topics whilst driving the development of technical execution codes in the European ground engineering sector.
Our Purpose
The EFFC is the voice of the European specialist geotechnical contractors to the wider construction industry, EU, governments and authorities. We express the point of view of our Members and drive forward positive, influential practices in our industry.
We provide a platform for the national federations of geotechnical contractors to develop, share and understand the standards we aim for; and seek to collectively improve areas such as health and safety, sustainability, technical workmanship and commercial behaviours.
Together we build consensus and expertise to support our Members in their work to improve the industry. Everything we do works to deliver value back to the geotechnical contractors that make up our Members.
