Time to event

Date

Duration

Launching the New EFFC-DFI Carbon Reduction and Circular Economy Guides is a free of charge, 1 hour webinar which will take place on 22nd April at 11:00 BST / 12:00 CET.

Building on the success of the EFFC versions, this webinar, which will include presentations from Luke Deamer (Group Sustainability Manager at Keller Group), Kimberly Martin (Sustainability and Innovation Manager at Keller North America) and Alice Berry (Head of Net Zero, Brighton and Hove City Council), will provide an update to the newest additions to both EFFC-DFI Carbon Reduction and Circular Economy guides, including best practices from Europe, the US and beyond.

Both guides now introduce sustainability initiatives for both geotechnical designers and contractors and also include recent case studies to bring these sustainability initiatives to life.

In this webinar, our three speakers will explore:

  • What does carbon and the circular economy practically mean for geotechnical companies?
  • How can each person, from engineers to procurement specialists, contribute to carbon reduction and the circular economy?
  • With growing EU legislation around carbon and circularity reporting, what do geotechnical companies need to measure and report?
  • What practical examples do we have of these initiatives working in projects and companies?
